Rooted in the Apostolic faith, Mount Moriah Apostolic Church stands as "A Place of Sacrifice," inspired by Abraham and Isaac’s unwavering obedience on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22:14). We are committed to worship, spiritual growth, and serving with love.
We uphold the message of Acts 2:38, where believers repented, were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Just as the early church experienced the power of Pentecost, we seek to see lives transformed through the infilling of the Spirit and the truth of God’s Word.
Through prayer, teaching, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we strive to impact lives and glorify God in all we do. Join us as we walk in faith and experience His divine provision.
Mount Moriah Apostolic Church is dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, cultivating a strong foundation of faith, and fostering a spirit of sacrifice and devotion. We strive to equip believers through biblical teaching, passionate worship, and compassionate service, empowering them to live holy and impactful lives for the Kingdom of God. Rooted in the Apostolic doctrine, we uphold the message of Acts 2:38—repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit—as the foundation of salvation and a transformed life.

-
Salvation Through Acts 2:38 – We uphold the Apostolic message of repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and receiving the Holy Ghost as the path to salvation (Acts 2:38).

Our vision is to be a beacon of light and transformation, where lives are changed through the power of God’s Word and Spirit. As “A Place of Sacrifice,” we seek to build a community of faith that reflects Christ’s love, inspires spiritual growth, and reaches the world with the message of salvation. Just as the early church in Acts 2 experienced the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, we desire to see revival, unity, and the miraculous move of God in our church and beyond.
At Mount Moriah Apostolic Church, we stand firmly on the foundation of God’s Word and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our faith is rooted in the Apostolic doctrine, as demonstrated in the early church (Acts 2:38), and we uphold the following core biblical beliefs:
-
The One True God
We believe in One God (Deuteronomy 6:4) who is the Creator of all things. He has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration (1 Timothy 3:16, Colossians 2:9). -
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16), providing divine instruction for salvation, righteousness, and holy living. -
Salvation Through Jesus Christ
We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:16), who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). -
Acts 2:38 – The Plan of Salvation
We believe in repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:38, John 3:5, Acts 10:44-46). -
Holiness & Christian Living
We believe that God calls all believers to a life of holiness, both inwardly and outwardly (Hebrews 12:14, 2 Corinthians 7:1). As temples of the Holy Spirit, we are to live in obedience to God’s Word, demonstrating love, integrity, and righteousness. -
The Church – The Body of Christ
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, commissioned to spread the Gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 4:11-13). -
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for His Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) and in the final judgment, where the righteous will inherit eternal life and the unrighteous will face eternal separation from God (Revelation 20:11-15). -
Baptism & Communion
We practice water baptism in Jesus’ name (Acts 8:16, Acts 19:5) and observe the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice (1 Corinthians 11:24-26).
We are committed to upholding these truths, living by faith, and sharing the message of salvation with the world. Mount Moriah Apostolic Church – A Place of Sacrifice, Faith, and Divine Provision.

Apostolic Church
The Apostolic Church believes in one God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the Bible as the infallible Word of God, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. They uphold the fivefold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers), the continuation of spiritual gifts, divine healing, holy living, and the second coming of Christ.
Baptism in Jesus Name
Acts 2:38 (KJV) – "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Meaning and Importance:
-
Repentance – Turning away from sin and surrendering to God.
-
Baptism in Jesus' Name – A public declaration of faith and obedience.
-
Forgiveness of Sins – Through Christ’s sacrifice, believers are cleansed.
-
Receiving the Holy Ghost – A promise of the indwelling and empowering of the Holy Spirit, often evidenced by speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4).

Acts 2:4 – "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
2. A Sign of the Holy Spirit’s Presence
Mark 16:17 – "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues."
3. Speaking in Tongues as a Spiritual Gift
1 Corinthians 12:7-10 – Lists tongues as one of the gifts of the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 14:2 – "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries."
4. Praying in the Spirit
1 Corinthians 14:4 – "He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church."
Romans 8:26 – "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

-

2. Believers Given the Authority to Heal
-
Mark 16:17-18 – “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues... they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Summary:
The laying on of hands is a biblical method of imparting healing, blessings, and spiritual gifts. It is still practiced in many churches today, especially in Pentecostal and Apostolic traditions.
